The Luiss Diplomatic and Security Forum (#cissdiplosec26) organized by The Center for International and Strategic Studies (CISS) is a flagship event dedicated to Italian foreign and Security policy, conceived as a premier meeting point for the diplomatic, political, economic and analytic sectors. The forum’s primary objective is to gather Italy’s international and diplomatic community and fostering strategic dialogue between academia and diplomacy.
The 2026 edition will focus on the Mediterranean region. The program will feature high-level reports from key governmental bodies and strategic companies. It will also showcase presentations on significant initiatives, including projects related to submarine infrastructure, a major tunnel development, and the sustainability of the sea.
The forum builds on the success of previous editions, which addressed timely geopolitical topics:
- 2023: Paving the Future of Transatlantic Relations
- 2021: A bridge between Italy and Africa
- 2019: The future of the EU
The initiative is backed by the robust network of partners of the CISS.
