Description:
The Master’s Degree in International Relations at LUISS is a two-year, full-time program taught in English, designated as a LM-52 degree.
The curriculum combines interdisciplinary perspectives from political science, economics, law, and history to analyze pressing issues in global governance, diplomacy, security, and development. Students take core courses such as international security, global institutions, conflict analysis, and regional studies, and can pursue specialization tracks in areas such as diplomacy, security, or Mediterranean governance.
Beyond theoretical training, the program emphasizes applied learning: students engage in simulation exercises, policy labs, guest lectures by practitioners, research projects, and international internships. Graduates are equipped for careers in diplomatic services, international organizations, NGOs, government agencies, consulting, and research institutions. This master’s degree is particularly suited for students who aim to operate in settings where a deep, analytical understanding of international affairs and strategic decision-making is required, and who aspire to contribute to shaping responses to global challenges.
